Rachel & Joel – Abbotsford Wedding Photographer

When Rachel contacted me to do her wedding I was excited, to say the least. I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel’s sister’s wedding in 2010 and I know how much fun her family is.  We started the day off at Rachel’s parents farm and then braved the frigid , although sunny, November weather.  These bridesmaids (all sister’s to the bride) are the toughest bridesmaids EVER!    Thanks ladies for being so wonderful through the entire event!   I could photograph you girls every weekend and not get tired of it.

Thanks Shayna for a few of these great detail shots!

Love the first look and these two pulled if off so well.  After the train tracks we took a trip to Saar Bank Farms and (wow) it is amazing.  Can’t wait to shoot there again. These are quite possibly my favorite photos of this season.  Joel and Rachel, you are truly beautiful and it was so easy to photography you both!My wonderful associate Shayna captured the second photo below.  Love the angle and light!I was dying as we took these photos,  such glowing “winter” light.   And the wind,  though not so nice for the chilly bride,  made the photos that much more beautiful. If you ask me, dirty old concrete really looks great when you put a cute couple in front of it.

The ceremony was at Trinity Reform Church and it’s a favorite of mine.  The bride incorporated great details too!Congratulations Joel and Rachel!  Wishing you nothing but happiness.
