What a great day Ashley and Scott had back in August. I’m just putting up the final post now due to my “grueling” vacation schedule;) Such a tough life I’ve had.
The whole event took place at Pacific Country Stable and I can’t say enough great things about this location.
Scott and Ashley were pretty darn fabulous themselves too! Here is some more horseplay.
Fabulous reception details!
And the speeches, don’t even get me started on the speeches! They were amazing too.
Congratulations luv birds!
I am thrilled to announce that my good friend Angela welcomed another beautiful daughter earlier this week. I visited them in the hospital yesterday and had to snap a few photos. There will be an actual newborn session coming soon too.
I was excited to use the purple walls in the room she had. Worked great for a new baby girl!
Finally, here is the last post for Jasmine and Jordan. I’ve really enjoyed editing these images! I often joke with clients that “the pictures tell me what to do”. As many people are aware, a photographer’s job doesn’t end when he/she stops clicking the shutter. I spend countless hours behind the computer screen editing the images and I really, really enjoy this part of my job too. This is when the photos start talking to me (I’m not crazy, I promise). When I load them into Lightroom ( a must have tool for all photographers!) the images start the dialogue. Sometimes they tell me a little contrast, a little warming, maybe some vignetting. Sometimes they tell me more, wanting to be black & white, sepia, punchy or muted. Last post, vintage was the request. This post, for Jasmine who chose a rocking, vibrant bouquet and a kick-butt location, it definitely screams punchy and vibrant. The ceremony photos first!
I love it when the minister uses the ring as a prop! Makes a good shot. This was a special minister too, the groom’s father!
The attendance all made some noise during the kiss. Very cute!
First stop was Heritage Park in Mission.
These guys could fly!
One of my favorite places, Whonnock Lake.
This couple really made me smile.
Congratulations to a sweet and wonderful couple! We were blessed to share this day with you.
It was another hot, hot weekend and another unique and lovely wedding. Ashley and Scott chose a divine location for their wedding. Pacific Country Stables has a perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding ceremony, not to mention a gorgeous ballroom (that will be shown in future posts, I promise). Outdoor ceremonies are by far my favorite and I encourage anyone planning a wedding to seriously consider it. I know that in BC we are a little afraid of the rain but many locations, including Pacific Country Stables, have beautiful indoor locations that can be used in the event the weather doesn’t cooperate. Thanks Ashley for choosing such a great venue:)
On with the show! Ashley choose to incorporate a vintage theme into her wedding and I truly loved it so continued the feel into the photographs.
Adore the bird cage vail.
Her ring was exquisite!
Ashley is gorgeous and she pulled off the 1940s vintage look perfectly.
As soon as I walked into the location the girls were getting ready at, I knew I was going to use the french doors.
One of my associates, Shayna, captured the boys. I’m a little jealous I don’t get the opportunity to take shots like these but she did a great job!
Here is the amazing ceremony site.
I can see it! Scott is smitten.
It’s a year full of animals for Perfect Moments. We’ve done a few cows and at this wedding we were lucky enough to have a horse to photograph too.
Aren’t they adorable & perfect!? More photos to follow in a few weeks.
I’m just on my way out the door to shoot a wedding but have just enough time to share these getting ready shots of Jasmine and Jordan. The wedding was perfect! From the hazy skies, the elegant details, the fun wedding party and the stunning couple, it was a wedding to remember.
We had a little extra time before the ceremony so I had some fun with the beautiful bride. She is an amazing model!
Thanks to Eileen for these awesome shots of the groom getting ready.
Here is Bianca and Greg’s second sneak peek and there will definitely be a third because there are so many photos! A couple more detail shots.
The poor guys tend to get forgotten on my blog because my fantastic associates always take their getting ready shots. Well, that will never do! I’m posting some shots Natalie took because the groom is rather important, don’t you think?! Firstly, the boy’s details.
Anyone know how to tie a tie?
Now to the ceremony, full of emotion.
Doesn’t Bianca look radiant?
Beautiful architecture at the church.
Loved the colour of the dresses.
A quick kiss to seal the deal.
After the ceremony we took off to enjoy the sunshine and take some photos around Richmond and then to Burnaby. Here are the guys looking stellar.
Love the little blue building too.
The wind had a little fun with Bianca’s veil.
Pretty, Pretty girls!
Um, Bianca, you are so georgous!
Don’t you love the adorning looks Greg gives his new wife?!
I know I’ve posted a lot already but I will have a few more next week too. Congrats Bianca and Greg! You are an adorable couple and it was a pleasure working with you!
